New Companion

Hi mom! Okay so I have a ton of pictures to send to you today, but I´ll try to get a few words in as well.

We started the transfer and on Tuesday I picked up my brand new companion from the MTC. Her name is Hermana S and she is from Riverton Utah and she´s 19 years old. It was a really interesting experience actually. As we were waiting for the missionaries to get there, one of the elders brought out this huge package and said it was for one of the new sisters. Right from that moment I knew the sister that belonged to that package was going to be my companion. Then when I saw her I also knew it was her. She also knew I was going to be her trainer when she saw me. This just really strengthens my testimony that this church is run by revelation from God. I know God is completely aware of us and if we follow His spirit He guides us to where we need to be, when we need to be there, and with whom we need to be there with. My companion is so amazing and she has so much faith. We are already super close and I know that this transfer we are going to see a lot of miracles. It has been really amazing to be with a brand new missionary. Seeing her excitement and faith has really increased mine. We are working really hard and we have felt the spirit a lot together as we work. Seeing her also reminds me of the beginning of the mission and I´m so grateful for all the help God has given me to have become the missionary I am now. I am going to work as diligently as I can to finish off my mission strong. I really do know that we can do all things through Jesus Christ.

This week we have seen so many miracles. Since we´re in a trio for three weeks we are able to go on a lot of splits with the sisters from the ward which is really fun. We are also learning a lot about specific prayers. I know that when we ponder and study before we pray and then we ask God for specific things He answers and we see miracles.

D - Is a brand new investigator that is 15 years old. The elders from another area found him as he was skateboarding and one of them knew how to skateboard too so they started up a conversation with him and ended up giving him a book of Mormon. We had the first lesson with him yesterday. He´s from Madrid but his parents are from Argentina. He said when he was with the elders he felt a lot of trust with them which made him want to learn more. All three of us felt the spirit super strong as we were with him. He has such a light in his eyes and is very prepared to receive the gospel. :)

J - J is really struggling to gain a testimony. Even though he has read the whole book of mormon he still does not believe it is all true, He believes that everything we need to know is in the bible. He also says that he never receives answers from praying, only when he starts reading the bible he receives answers. We´re really working with him to help him know how the spirit works so he can study and pray more with the spirit and recognize his spiritual impressions. He is putting in his part by reading and coming to church so we are praying for him to really feel the spirit and gain a testimony.

Con mucho Amor,

Hermana Fuller

I'm going to be training

Buenas Días,

Transfers!!! We found out transfers on Saturday night and.... I´m going to be Training!! I´m very excited, grateful, and humbled to have this opportunity. My current companion, hermana Pavez, will be staying here with me and my new companion for three weeks and then she will be going to Valladolid in the North-ish of Spain. (a lot of missionaries are going home early to start school so there are a few crazy things going on this transfer), Tomorrow we are going to pick up my new companion from the MTC:)

This week my companion and I have had a lot of opportunities to give service. Many of the people we are working with are going through a lot of trials but we have been really blessed to be able to help them. I know that just having the spirit with us, blesses us with opportunities to serve others.

I love being a missionary. Being here and serving God is such a beautiful and filling experience. I´m just so grateful I have six more months .I can´t even begin to describe the blessing that he has given me, especially from the mission. I recently started the new testament and I´m reading in Matthew. I´m loving learning about the saviours life. Yesterday in Sacrament meeting I bore my testimony. I think one of my favorite things about being a missionary is being able to bear your testimony multiple times every day. When I talk about Jesus Christ and teach his gospel in the lesson I just feel like the words that leave my mouth are cleansing me. I´ve really felt the power of the atonement from being in the Lord´s service.

Sorry this email is so short, but know that at least my prayers for you all are longer:)

con mucho Amor,
Hermana Fuller

We have to make some decisions

We have to make some decisions.....ahhhhh

Dear Parents of Sister Fuller,

On 20 Jan 2015, Sister Fuller will conclude her missionary service in the Spain Madrid Mission. It is with mixed emotions that we anticipate the release of another of our missionaries, yet we know that the experiences in the mission have prepared her for even greater service when she returns home.

In regard to your daughter's release, the following information will be helpful to you. The Church pays for the return fare of all honorably released missionaries directly from the mission field to their homes. However, when parents travel home with the missionary, the parents are asked to make travel arrangements, pay for them, and will then be reimbursed for the missionary's return trip, up to the amount the Church would have paid had the missionary returned directly home.

About one month before the release date, you will receive the itinerary for the travel arrangements indicating times and flight numbers.

The following information from the Church Handbook of Instructions, “Missionary Service, Release of Full Time Missionaries” page 35, will help to clarify some common questions: “Missionaries should travel directly home from their missions. Any other travel is permitted only when the missionary is accompanied by at least one parent or guardian. If parents request the privilege (of picking up their missionary) they should understand that: Their plans must be based on the release date. They should inform the Mission Secretary or the Church Travel Office at least 3 months in advance, if they plan to travel with their missionary. Missionaries must dress and conduct themselves according to missionary standards during travel from their missions because they are not released until they report to their stake presidents.”

Sister Jackson and I would like to express our appreciation for the opportunity of serving with Sister Fuller. Our choicest and most memorable experiences have been those shared while working with our missionaries. We have seen the blessings that result from their dedication and service. May the Lord bless you, and may you continue to find joy and satisfaction in your daughter's missionary service.

Warmest regards,

President Scott T. JacksonSpain Madrid Mission
