New Companion

Hi mom! Okay so I have a ton of pictures to send to you today, but I´ll try to get a few words in as well.

We started the transfer and on Tuesday I picked up my brand new companion from the MTC. Her name is Hermana S and she is from Riverton Utah and she´s 19 years old. It was a really interesting experience actually. As we were waiting for the missionaries to get there, one of the elders brought out this huge package and said it was for one of the new sisters. Right from that moment I knew the sister that belonged to that package was going to be my companion. Then when I saw her I also knew it was her. She also knew I was going to be her trainer when she saw me. This just really strengthens my testimony that this church is run by revelation from God. I know God is completely aware of us and if we follow His spirit He guides us to where we need to be, when we need to be there, and with whom we need to be there with. My companion is so amazing and she has so much faith. We are already super close and I know that this transfer we are going to see a lot of miracles. It has been really amazing to be with a brand new missionary. Seeing her excitement and faith has really increased mine. We are working really hard and we have felt the spirit a lot together as we work. Seeing her also reminds me of the beginning of the mission and I´m so grateful for all the help God has given me to have become the missionary I am now. I am going to work as diligently as I can to finish off my mission strong. I really do know that we can do all things through Jesus Christ.

This week we have seen so many miracles. Since we´re in a trio for three weeks we are able to go on a lot of splits with the sisters from the ward which is really fun. We are also learning a lot about specific prayers. I know that when we ponder and study before we pray and then we ask God for specific things He answers and we see miracles.

D - Is a brand new investigator that is 15 years old. The elders from another area found him as he was skateboarding and one of them knew how to skateboard too so they started up a conversation with him and ended up giving him a book of Mormon. We had the first lesson with him yesterday. He´s from Madrid but his parents are from Argentina. He said when he was with the elders he felt a lot of trust with them which made him want to learn more. All three of us felt the spirit super strong as we were with him. He has such a light in his eyes and is very prepared to receive the gospel. :)

J - J is really struggling to gain a testimony. Even though he has read the whole book of mormon he still does not believe it is all true, He believes that everything we need to know is in the bible. He also says that he never receives answers from praying, only when he starts reading the bible he receives answers. We´re really working with him to help him know how the spirit works so he can study and pray more with the spirit and recognize his spiritual impressions. He is putting in his part by reading and coming to church so we are praying for him to really feel the spirit and gain a testimony.

Con mucho Amor,

Hermana Fuller
